Although being able to investigate an absolute solution involving how, where, and when agriculture can be used to address the chronically poor, the goals are clear enough to understand the laudable and ambitious idealism of striving for this achievement. The solution to tackle this problem in the past of introducing donors to resolve, fund, and implement good strategy to slash poverty rates is completely overshadowed by government programs and policies. Perhaps the most important determinant of poverty rates in the future will be public policies and programs.

This presentation is based on AMA Innovation Lab projects for the Poverty Traps Conference. This conference is a gathering point for USAID and other development assistant agencies to connect the poor to economic growth.
